Self -Awareness is Medicine

An overall objective of therapy is working to understand yourself more clearly so more choices become obvious. Bringing something forth from unawareness, denial, or repression into the light of your conscious mind already begins to create a shift in perspective and how you feel about things. Name what is true for you.

Being open to seeing is the main factor. 

A good place to start is curiosity about your Internal Family System.

Inner Critic
Inner Child
Inner Teenager
Inner Mature Loving Adult 

What comes to mind when you think about these terms and any past experiences or current feelings that might be relevant to these particular aspects of you. 

Who is Loudest?
Who do you have no idea about?
