Knowing why... and the origins of a particular personal pain and injustice can sometimes be very helpful. Sometimes, it's more helpful to focus on What will I do after this phase has passed?
How will I feel, and what will I do once this___________has left?
Prepare yourself for when:
The negative emotions subside
The pain ends
The craving passes
The movement of thinking, planning, creating, evolving an improved way.....is part of how it is born-
How will you feel?
What will do you?
What will you say?
How will you relate to everything once the pain has passed?
For example- if you struggle with anxiety in a situation.....Ask yourself what you will do once it subsided. You don't need to know how it will be resolved or why it happened. Perhaps you'll feel relaxed and happy. Perhaps you'll feel proud if there was no anxiety present.
Get in the habit of pointing your mind in the direction you'd like your future to be moving toward.
